Michael Rodler war wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Lehrstuhl für Systemsicherheit an der Universität Duisburg-Essen. Er promovierte erfolgreich zum Thema Software (In)Security of Smart Contracts and Trusted Enclaves. Heute arbeitet er bei Amazon Web Services (AWS).
